Police arrested a woman after allegedly trying to sell her three-day-old son at a Taco Bell for $500.

According to the police reports, a 911 caller told deputies a woman approached her, handed her the baby to her and said she could purchase the child.

Deputies arrested 36-year-old Heidi Knowles (Heidi Lynn Gasaway) at a motel where she was staying.

She appeared to be under the influence when they made contact with her. She was with her baby and Taco Bell food at the time of her arrest, deputies say.

At the moment, Knowles is being held without bail on several previously issued arrest warrants but hasn't been charged yet in the case. She has denied the claim, yet the police arecontinuing to investigate the incident.
