Madrid – Terra begins a new phase in Spain with the launch of its updated portal that shows the media company’s evolution towards an integrated news and high quality audiovisual services platform. Terra now offers a cleaner layout and design that allows easier and faster content consumption options.  Thus, Terra will function locally following its global digital media model already in place in 17 different countries in Latin America and the United States.

One of the key elements will be Terra’s editorial operation, which is based on four different verticals. Its Noticias section offers domestic and international content crafted by its Spanish newsroom as well as all other Terra teams and their correspondents in the world’s main capital cities.

In addition to covering the core of sports (news, photo galleries, videos, etc.), Terra Deportes is proud to be a pioneer in offering the Minuto-a-Minuto tool, a more-than-ever interactive and functional minute by minute online narration, which will include multimedia resources such as embedded videos, comments, photo galleries, social media and a complete product integration with Terra’s live streaming platform.

Users will continue to find the most complete information on business and economy through its world renowned site Invertia. Last but not least, Terra’s Entretenimiento and Vida y Estilo offer live concert streaming, extensive coverage of global Fashion Weeks and diverse cultural events like film festivals and exhibits.

Without a doubt, one of the strongest offerings will be the Live Streaming/Xtreme Live Experience. Terra renews itself with the firm compromise to stream via this platform any relevant news, act or event. The first of such offerings is the live streaming of the European Summit taking place in Brussels today and tomorrow.

Some of the already confirmed events users will be able to access on Terra include the Belgian, Danish and Ukrainian National Soccer Championships, an in-depth and extensive coverage of Rock in Rio from Madrid and the direct streaming of the Festival Internacional de Benicàssim and the Festival Costa del Fuego.
