Twenty-one children sang together in order to help raise funds for various organizations aiding survivors and their families.

"Singing this song makes me feel as if she were next to me," said 10-year-old Kayla Verga, about her friend Jessica Rekos, one of the victim's this past December.

The children performed the celebrated "Over The Rainbow," written for the movie The Wizard Oz," and famously performed by Judy Garland.

The performance can already be purchased on iTunes and Amazon with the funds targeted for Newtown Youth Academy and United Way of Western Connecticut.

The song was recorded in a studio belonging to former Talking Heads members, Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth, in their home in Farfield, CN.

"It was emotional, absolutely. But the kids are strong. They love to sing and they did so very well," said Frantz, to the Daily News. He added that the song could be a hit.
