UPDATE: President Barack Obama confirmed Moammar Gadafi's death.
'Today we can definitively say that the Gadhafi regime has come to an end. The last major regime strongholds have fallen. A new government is consolidating control over the country. One of the world's longest serving dictators is no more,' Obama declared in a statement.
The WhiteHouse and Department of State have yet to confirm Moammar Gadhafi's death, but officials have informed the media of the former leader's demise.
'Wow,' Hillary Clinton exclaimed when the news was presented to her. 'Unconfirmed reports of Gadhafi's death, but we've seen a lot of those.'
Reports claim that Gadhafi was killed when fighters stormed a home in Sirte. He allegedly fled on a convoy and a NATO airstrike blasted the vehicle.
Others says that Gadhafi was hiding in the home or near a sewage area and pleaded not to be shot. He was either shot in the head, hit in the head, and/or injured in the leg.
