An Arkansas meteorologist was reportedly found asleep in a hot tub next to a dead man by a home owner after an alleged night of drinking and doing drugs. Get the details on this bizarre story here.
Christopher Barbour awoke Monday morning to discover KARK meteorologist Brett Cummins and 24-year-old Dexter Williams in an empty hot tub at his home. Cummins was asleep while Williams was blue-faced, cold and had what looked like a dog collar around his neck, according to police reports.
This tragic and bizarre night began when Cummins and Williams arrived at Barbour's home just outside of Little Rock at about 8 p.m. on Sunday and the trio began to drink and do drugs, although the specific drug was not mentioned. The trio continued their drinking in a hot tub, but at about 11 p.m. Barbour parted from the group and fell asleep on his couch.
After waking up and finding Cummins and Williams in the hot tub, Barbour woke Cummins up. The pair noticed Williams' discolored face and cold body temperature, prompting Cummins to run off screaming and vomit.
Local police arrived at the home on Monday morning at about 8:10 a.m. They noticed Williams' body and blood pulling around his head. They also reported a pill bottle next to some cargo pants on top of an ottoman in the master bedroom.
No arrests have been made, but police are investigating the death. KARK released a statement in regard to the incident.
'Our Meteorologist Brett Cummins was at the home at the time of the death and we felt we should share this with our viewers. Brett will not be on the air as he is mourning the loss of his friend. Our thoughts goout to the family and friends of Dexter Williams.'
