The health of President Hugo Chavez is uncertain, as he remains in Cuba convalescing. A recent wave of graffiti has hit the country that revolves around the president's health. Chavez has not been seen in public since he underwent an operation in Cuba since mid-December.

On January 10, his supporters took to the streets and swore absolute loyalty to the ailing president. Chavez went on an 'indefinite leave' while trying to recover from cancer that was diagnosed in 2011.

And while fans await an early return, the opposition insists that there is a power vacuum. Opponents say the President of the National Assembly Diosdado Cabello should take over the presidency in the absence of Chavez.

There have been also rumors that Chavez and died. His brother, Adan, recently denied on his return from Cuba that the president is in a coma.

And the president's health exists a cloak of mystery. Adan Chavez said recently that the Venezuelan leader continues assimilating a good manner of treatment and progresses each day in his recovery. But they still are not sure what type of cancer he has.

Chavez supporters have called a march to support the president on January 23, which coincides with the commemoration of the fall of the Marcos Pérez Jiménez regime (1952-1958).

For its part, the opposition has called to march on the same day to reject the Supreme Court's ruling that guarantees the continuity of government despite the delay in the inauguration of the president.
