A new ad created by a Hispanic Republican group urged Nevada residents not to vote. Although the ad was set to be aired on Univision, their latest statement has derailed that plan. Watch the controversial ad and decide whether it goes too far.

The ad is nothing new really. It targets Democrats that are currently in office citing that they haven't lived up to the promises made to Hispanics. The biggest controversy is around the ad's message: 'Don't Vote.'

Voter apathy has plagued politics for years. It seems that every election, more and more voters just give up. Politicians always make promises and we come up short. Still, is the resolution to stop voting?

The clip was supposed to be aired on Univision, but once the English-version was uploaded to Youtube, that went out the window.

'Univision will not be running any spots from Latinos for Reform related to voting. Univision prides itself on promoting civic engagement and our extensive national campaigns encourage Hispanics to vote,' said a spokeswoman for the network, Monica Talan, in an email.

Are you giving up on politics?
