'It's been a long time coming, but we know we have created a tool that puts personalized, decision-making information at our users' fingertips.' stated Andrew Barrow, CEO of BustaVote LLC.
Earlier last year, the BustaVote team started with the goal of developing an easy and fun way to help consumers make purchasing decisions by polling those closest to them - their friends.
Last month the BustaVote app was released onto Apple's App Store. The app functions by giving users the ability to ask their Facebook friends a question then set a time limit on how long their friends have to 'vote' or state their opinion. Users let their friends know what they ultimately decided on by casting a 'Final Vote.'
Users of BustaVote earn points by posting questions and voting for the winning choice on their friends' questions. Users then can see how their point totals compare with their friends' totals via the BustaVote Ranker. Furthermore, since the app is built on Facebook's open graph system, there will be no need to add your friends as BustaVote automatically syncs your friends directly into the system.
'With BustaVote, we are trying to further enhance Facebook friendships through social engagement of everyday decision making' said CTO Andy Ertell. Ertell continued stating 'We are looking to our users to give us feedback and let us know what features they would like to see added or changed, so please let us know your thoughts on our contact page at www.bustavote.com.'
